Red Roof Inn Chambersburg

This hotel is very clean. They have a small amount of roaches, but they have professional exterminators that treat the rooms. The people at the front desk are very nice and very helpful and attentive. The housekeepers are very nice. Shower is hot immediately. They have a guest washer and dryer. They have complimentary hot Tea and Coffee in the lobby. Its fairly quiet here. Starbucks, Arby's, Wendy's, wawa, rural king, save a lot are all within walking distance. 100% recommend staying here. My only con for this place is the toilet, they barely flush,just using the smallest amount of toilet paper clogs the toilet.

The rooms are very spacious and daily rates are reasonable for what you get. It is located near a gas station, Dunkin and grocery stores in a laid back area, so you won’t have to worry about crime or sketchy people out in the parking lot like you do with most hotels. It is pretty much right off the interstate, so it’s easy to get where you need to go once you leave. The hallways reek of cigarette smoke and are dated looking, but the rooms themselves were nice and clean which is all that matters. It isn’t going to win any awards since there aren’t any amenities, but it’s a decent place to stay for a night or two.

We had gotten evicted from our home due to the rental we were in failing boro inspections. Having 2 disabled adults to care for, we could not stay in our vehicle for any length of time. My daughter found the Red Roof Inn on Google search which seem to have a relatively decent price for a week stay. Although we were leary about some of the reviews we read, we took a chance (it was a chance by need) to book a room for a week (ended up being an extended stay for which we did get a small discount). Contrary to what we read, we found our room to be in decent shape. The bathroom and room was actually clean. A little musty smell but that eventually faded. Beds had clean sheets and blankets. Also contrary to what we read, we never found bugs of any type in our room while we were there. We do keep our room cleaned up daily which helps keep bugs away. There are long term residents here, that we've gotten to know and be friendly with, which helps keep your stay pleasant. Employees (it took us awhile to break out of our comfort zone to interact with people) are pretty friendly and helpful. I've never run into any that had ever had a bad temper. All in all, the hotel is being worked on, but is kept as clean as it can be for the amount of people who stay here and come in and out on a daily basis.

This place is awesome,longs as I have money I will choose this hotel over any hotel in the area. The front desk people are the best, Emerson,lindy,even the manager they all are the best. Despite any other reviews I never seen a but in my room,I keep it clean and I feel welcomed as well as my step daughter. We love th conversations we have with the front desk people. We're in a rough patch in life and using this hotel as home for now. We enjoy staying here, and will continue to do so until we save to get our own place. We love it here, excellent housekeeping too,they care and they show it.

The staff are super friendly and very helpful with any needs you may have. The rooms are clean and spacious and have all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. It located in a great spot close to some good restaurants or some grocery stores for whatever you need. I recommend 10 out of 10

My Family and I had a fantastic stay at Red Roof Inn. Rooms were spacious and clean. The location is great, you're within walking distance of different stores and restaurants. Customer service was great. The lady at the front desk was so nice and made us feel at home. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

I was blown away by the 5 star service I received here. I checked in at midnight and the manager was quick to get me and my team in our rooms, as well as help me set up charging for my Tesla (120v but they’re planning on adding fast chargers soon). Rooms were perfectly clean and smelled fresh! Great experience! Would stay here again!

Good place to stay and IF employees and Management do their jobs with discipline and care(pride), Eliminate all bed bugs, roaches often much better healthier place to stay and work full time.
